Set in a post-apocalyptic New Zealand, this action drama was shot entirely in the Marlborough region. Kellan (Josh McKenzie, from Girl vs Boy and Filthy Rich) is forced to go bush in search of medicine to save his injured wife (Step Dave's Delaney Tabron). He encounters a gruff farmer (veteran Marshall Napier, from Came a Hot Friday and Bellbird) who promises to help, in exchange for defending his livestock from desperate marauders. Director Aaron Falvey (The Flame) and writer Justin Eade spent years refining their indie feature. North American rights were picked up by high profile US company Lionsgate.
Once compassion's left the building believe me, it ain't coming back.– Summer (Marshall Napier) makes a grim observation
