Ohinga

Current affairs web series Ohinga reflects the interests and issues of young Māori, offering a "voice that allows them to express their unique world view of what's happening in Aotearoa and across the globe". Since launching in 2021, its four seasons have touched on such subjects as Te Tiriti o Waitangi, being a young person with a moko, and to how to make boil-up on a budget — to name just a few. The series is produced by creative agency Mahi Tahi and plays on website Re: News, Television New Zealand's youth platform.
