Pacific Beat Street

Magazine style show Pacific Beat Street reflected a growing realisation in the early 2000s that New Zealand was a multicultural country with a pool of young Pasifika talent. The series covered styles and trends in music, sport, fashion and food, from computers and movies to games, jobs and family. The team of presenters (which included Tuki Laumea, Koryn Dunstan, actor Michael Koloi and Sam Cowley-Lupo) meet a range of innovators and influencers, including hip hop artist Dei Hamo and the team behind hit show bro'Town.
