'Peace, Love and Family' mixes Moana and the Moahunters in action with historic images of Māori history and struggle. In keeping with the song’s message, the video also features plenty of friends and family dancing together outside a marae. Alongside Moana Maniapoto’s vocals, the song also features a rap from Moahunter Teremoana Rapley, and ends on a karakia courtesy of Mina Ripia. Decades later Tahi — the album this song features on — took away the NZ Classic Record Award at the 2019 Taite Music Prize awards. The award celebrates an iconic record "that continues to inspire us today".
The song turns into a bit of a free-for-all: Matty J pops up for a one-line cameo (“It’s not my problem, hey!”), Teremoana does a ragga rap, Moana has a sultry chant, and Mina finishes with a karakia.– Robyn Gallagher on this video, 5000 Ways to Love You website, October 1992
