This 1982 episode from beloved preschool show Play School is presented by Rawiri Paratene (Whale Rider) and Winsome-Aroha (then Winsome Dacker). The main activity is making egg box collections, which hold items like rubber bands, coins, shells and stones. The presenters are kept on their toes with songs about snails and wasps, as well as regular Play School features like 'Through the Window' and storytime. In their final game, Play School icons Big Ted, Jemima, Humpty and Manu go along to a country fair, with Paratene and Dacker putting on their best American accents.
