Purina Pound Pups to Dog Stars

Over two seasons zoologist and animal behaviourist Mark Vette and his team at Rodney-based training centre Animals on Q worked with abused and neglected dogs and set about turning them into happy, socialised family pets, or working dogs. Vette joined global pet food company Purina to create Pound Pups to Dog Stars and the series won fans in multiple countries. While the focus is on rescue dogs, the trainers deal with problem pets of all stripes, and reveal tricks of the trade in training animals for screen performances.
