Shortland Street - Billy McCaskill's birth

Television (Excerpts) – 2018

After going into labour early, Harper (Ria Vandervis) and Drew (Ben Barrington) welcome their baby Billy into the world at home. In this clip, the question on everyone’s minds is, pink or blue? The surprises continue as Harper reveals to Nicole (Sally Martin) that Billy is intersex. Drew grapples with the idea of raising an intersex child. Meanwhile, Zoe (Holly Shervery) faces uncertainty in her own pregnancy, with the news that her baby may have Down syndrome. As the good news of Billy’s birth spreads around the hospital, the ER springs into action to treat another victim of sexual assault in a spate of recent cases.

Billy is so small and so helpless, and the world is so huge and heartless. How do I protect him — her — from whatever cruel crap is going to get chucked our way?
