Spacial Verb

Wellington band Spacial Verb was Adrian Lee (vocals), Gaz Smith (guitar), Crusher (bass) and Miles de Burg (drums). Smith also played in veteran punk outfit Vas Deferens. Spacial Verb had their moment in the sun when they won a competition organised by radio station Channel Z to cover Monte Video's novelty hit 'Shoop Shoop' — and they appeared with the station's staff in a music video homage to the original clip. They released an EP as well as the 'Shoop Shoop' single (which spent four weeks in the Top 40 in 2002, peaking at number 27).
