In 2002 major American label Capitol Records signed Steriogram, after discovering their playful single 'White Trash'. The band's debut album Schmack! featured 'On and On'. The song is early 2000s punk-flavoured pop, featuring vocalist Tyson Kennedy's manic rap stylings. The video echoes the constant movement of the title; the band rocks out on a city rooftop, then Kennedy bails to its underground car park. The video turns road movie, with the band cruising around on mini motorbikes, but Kennedy soon crashes out. After dodging a sinister heavy with a baseball bat, he reunites with the band and fans at the rooftop gig.
The one thing I'm real proud of in Steriogram is that we always thought of something and we didn't question it. We just did it.– Founding member Brad Carter on punk/pop/rock band Steriogram, AudioCulture website, 8 August 2005
