Suzy's Big Day Out

In children's series Suzy's Big Day Out beloved TV presenter Suzy Cato takes her young audience on a tiki tour of New Zealand to experience a wide range of mainly outdoor activities. Each episode is peppered with original songs that encourage learning in a fun and gentle way. Cato visits the South Island to go skiing and snowboarding at Cadrona, samples huhu grubs and worms at Hokitika's Wildfoods Festival and travels on horseback to the the Cromwell country fair. Most episodes are nature-based; Cato spends a day at Auckland Zoo, visits Napier's Marineland and goes scuba diving in a marine reserve.
