Four Kiwis and four Aussies go head-to-head in this country music showdown, vying for the title of Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year. Sweet Dreams follows the four Kiwis — Camille Te Nahu, Karla Rogers, Matt Smith and Lesley Niania — as they journey to battle it out on Norfolk Island, smack dab between the two nations. As the competition heats up, the documentary delves into the history of country music in New Zealand — a once thriving industry now left to the true-blue fans. The annual festival is a chance for this staunchly proud community to dust off their boots and celebrate their enduring passion.
