Taringa

Served up with a side of wit and wisdom, podcast series Taringa hosts weekly discussions of everything te ao Māori. Presenters Paraone Gloyne, Te Puaheiri Snowden and Erica Sinclair sit down for engaging kōrero on Māori culture, te reo Māori and tikanga. Regular topics cover historical events, history of different iwi, and grammar, while special guests include Pio Terei and Rangi Mātāmua. Taringa is presented in English and te reo Māori for language learners; it is produced by tertiary education provider Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. Since its launch in 2017, the award-winning podcast has released more than 300 episodes, and several videos.
