The Millen Baird Show

The Millen Baird Show gave Aotearoa its first taste of Baird comedy. Created by and co-starring Millen Baird, the sketch show features a rowdy bunch of strange small-town locals — including competitive mums, the local rugby team, a freeloading dog-walker and a flatmate who avoids confrontation. One season of six episodes was made; it was nominated for Best Comedy Programme at the 2009 Qantas TV Awards. A number of the main actors regrouped for future Baird projects Auckland Daze and Darryl: An Outward Bound Story.
