Bones

Ginny Blackmore’s breakout hit 'Bones' is a haunting pop ballad capturing longing and heartache. The striking black-and-white music video intertwines scenes of Blackmore singing directly to a man with tender moments between real-life couples. Blackmore’s raw vocals and the song’s simple arrangement are combined with minimalist visuals to enhance its emotional impact. 'Bones' became a chart topper in New Zealand, reaching number one on the singles chart and making it onto two US Billboard charts. The song was later released as a part of Blackmore's 2015 album Over The Moon.

I kept it very very true and honest and raw. Like the song is very brutal, and I recorded it alone in my apartment. So I wanted the video to be not some big glamorous affair, but something just straight up and true. So me and my mates got together, my friend Chuck Willis directed the video, and he came up with an idea for it and it includes my very very best friends.
