I can confirm this clip was part of an entire TV show. It was recorded at the then brand new Christchurch Town Hall - in the Auditorium. I saw it on our Black & White TV. Was broadcast on the local NZBC station (CHTV3).

A great Kiwi singer/songwriter. Way beyond her years in maturity in the writing of her songs.I still have the vinyl record ''Whispering Afraid'' and played it only a few weeks ago.The title track is my favourite song on the album. Thanks to ''1905'' everyone can work out how old Shona is-- Happy 60th to her for next year.

Has to be one of the top female singer songwriter that NZ has ever had. I can remember working at Lower Hutt railway station we she came in to book her car on the ferry to Picton. It was just after this song took off boy was I jealous as we were the same age which I worked out due to the song but I bought her first album - whispering afraid - which I still have on cassette I use overboard - one of her later songs - as my ringtone

I had just arrived in Auckland when I saw her singing 1905 on NZTV - it was love at first sight. I have this song on my ear-pod.
