In the second offering of this animated comedy web series, twins Monty and Kōwhai continue to make music, have misadventures with their oddball family and fill time kicking around their hometown of Aroha Bridge. The second season touches on sports versus the arts, jealousy and comparison, activism, getting rich quick, Māori identity and the fickle nature of fame — all in the tongue-in-cheek style the show is known for. The same creative team returns from series one, including co-directors Simon Ward and Jessica Hansell (aka Coco Solid). Hansell created Aroha Bridge based on her comic strip Hook Ups.
