I'd like everybody to focus on one thing — and one thing only — winning this race.– A member of Scott Dixon's racing car team
A lot of people still think that you turn up to the track and the car arrives and you turn the key. It takes 80 to 100 people just to keep a two-car team running. It's a big organisation with millions of dollars to go into it to make it all happen.– Scott Dixon on the resources needed to race cars, Stuff website, 21 September 2018
It wasn't something I would normally be totally comfortable with, but it was a fun experience ... the way it was done with an all Kiwi group of people shooting it and doing the sound made it all really cool. There was a lot of banter and it made it more relaxed. I think it will be really big for IndyCar and motorsport in general.– Scott Dixon on the making of Born Racer, Stuff website, 21 September 2018
We live to race. There is nothing else.– Chip Ganassi, motor racing team owner
