Agree with everyone else here, who expressed gratitude and thanks for this film. In a world where the line between haves and have-nots is obscure, and the superficial differences blur our connectedness, Zoe McIntosh's film shines out. The length of this sweet little film belies it's depth and breadth of meaning - which is beyond time and space. Ahakoa he iti, he iti pounamu.

Thank you for making this film. Wow such an eye opener. I've just finished reading Tuhoe Issac book. Very compelling. Now I want to research more, find out more about this world. The human psychology fascinates me as I look at where myself and others come from. I am forever impacted and admire the strength and fortitude of former gang members that have managed to forge another life. I really am left in awe. Amazing. Really
amazing. Look forward to seeing more work of this caliber. Thank you.

Absolutely loved it, need more of these plse as my 2 brothers were in gangs and watching this I realize how lonely they must have been at times, but my parents stood by them all the way, and as a young girl I just followed my parents and did as they said. When it came to both of my parents tangi the gangs turned up in droves.......thats what love is and thats all that matters isn't it. But had it not been for my two brothers, I would'nt have seen that side of the gang.....my parents and whanau were and always will be well respected by them.

Kia ora NZ on Screen and thanks for posting this film.

Nga mihi ki a Zoe raua ko Costa.

Kei te mihi nui e te rangatira a Tuhoe.

Very moving performance and after living in houses and with whanau exactly like our mob deep family in this film, it is amazing to wonder about the world outside and to dare to take those precious journeys that challenge each of us, every day.

Beautiful film.

I was a bit hesitant at first as it seemed to follow the usual brooding, intense representation of our whanau in gangs but then went in a whole new direction, before coming home again (literally). Very good.

So chur to all for making this film and look forward to seeing more.

Nooooooooo!!! *Mass Disappointment Face* - Dang you overseas restrictions outside of NZ rule! lol. I know why and all but still - stinkage.
I've actually just finished reading Tuhoe's biography 'Truered' - which i found for sale for $1AUD, at my local Salvo's op shop here in Sydney only just last week! I know - what luck! Mean score. Anyway - Read it. and liked it. Interesting! - Then I just seen now he's done a short film.. and the rest..you know.

GOSH I'M LUCKY THERE'S SOO MUCH OTHER COOL OLD SCHOOL STUFF TOO WATCH ON THIS WEBSITE ANYWAY SO.. ALL GOOD.

Thanks NZOS. Neat alright. x
