Heritage Rescue - Series Two

Episode One - Featherston
Brigid Gallagher and her team get to work transforming a small military museum in Featherston, which holds the truth behind one of New Zealand's most awful wartime secrets.

Episode Two - Dargaville
Brigid and the team make big changes at Dargaville Museum, and research theories of a possible pre-Māori settlement through an early 19th century shipwreck.

Episode Three - Pahiatua
Brigid is in Pahiatua, discovering the heart-wrenching story of hundreds of Polish children fleeing war-torn Europe. Can the Heritage Rescue team help the local museum honour those children?

Episode Four - Keao
Brigid and the Heritage Rescue team create new displays at the Kaeo museum, full of significant objects dating back to the earliest contact between Māori and Pākehā.

Episode Five - Eketāhuna 
This week the Heritage Rescue team visit Eketāhuna Museum, and whip its jumbled exhibits into a clear and concise showcase of the township's amazing history. 

Episode Six - Waihi
The team heads to Waihi Museum, where they hope to help showcase the stories of the Waihi mines. But there is unrest as some of the committee aren't happy with the display of miners' severed thumbs. 

Episode Seven - Devonport (part one)
Brigid and the team visit Auckland's Devonport Museum. The area is home to a number of monumental events — it's the location of the first female votes, as well as the first hanging of a Pākehā in New Zealand. 

Episode Eight - Devonport (part two)
The team return to Devonport to finish revamping the museum. Brigid heads into the community to learn about some turbulent history, and puts in a request to fire a disappearing gun on North Head.
