Dated now, but was so big back in the mid eighties. Great cast and crew, I remember the high emotions at the wrap party. Thanks Mike - was a fun gig.

That moment where Maxine shows up and declares "It'll sound better with a bass" has stuck with me for nearly 30 years. Heroes was so cool. The music they were playing was bang on trend for 1984 and the dialogue sounds fresh, not like the stiff 'proper' speech that was heard in other telly drama of the time. Also a nice glimpse into student nutrition - white bread, margarine, peanut butter = speeeeew!

Ah, memories! I remember watching this when it was on ABC1 here in Australia back in 1985. I must say, this show is well-polished and the musical content sounds very professional; in fact, this really should've gone on to be an international winner. And, I must admit, watching this entire first season of Heroes was what really got me interested in being in a band. Does anyone know where I can get hold a copy of this first and the second instrallment of Heroes on DVD?
