I've been looking forward to kumaras ...– Acker Bilk on Wellington
I accepted an opportunity to walk around the top of the Beehive one Sunday afternoon for the Holmes TV show, playing the trumpet. It is not that I liked the Holmes show, indeed I think it did a permanent disservice to New Zealand journalism by dumbing it down. I loved it.– Geoffrey Palmer, in 2013's Reform: A Memoir, 'Some Lighter Moments'
