Actor, writer and director Oscar Kightley heads to the Golden Land of Myanmar in this Intrepid Journey. After embracing Buddhist traditions in capital Yangon, Kightley takes a wayward truck and finds himself a little closer to nirvana at Mount Kyaiktiyo, the site of the impressive Golden Rock and Kyaiktiyo Pagoda. Myanmar (or Burma) is famous for its Buddhist pagodas covered in gold, hence the description 'the Golden Land'. Kightley tries his hand at hammering gold leaf and spends the night with the Palaung people. He leaves Myanmar having felt the "overwhelming vibe of peace" that "seeps into your bones".
