As a pakeha I hold firm that I awoke in NZ. I was born there. Looking at history in it's entirety, all races of people have been oppressed and been slaves. My mana is my truth. It was great to see the elders with the medicines from trees. My pakeha brain says I would talk to people on the way back in the forest and proberly grab more than 12 varieties.
Thank you Maoridom foe the gateway for this interaction and thank you Te Raperha for your words of clarity in the Waikeroana museum that awakened a boy to the truth.
