Journalist and former rough sleeper Six presents this eight-part web series, which offers a close-up into life for those sleeping rough on Karangahape Road. Six interviews friends who share their experiences and the circumstances that led them to the streets of Tāmaki Makaurau. Some describe abusive childhoods, drug addiction, working in the sex industry and living in survival mode. Six, who studied journalism whilst homeless, launched the K' Road Chronicle paper "for the street, from the street, by the street". In the 10-12 minute episodes, ex Al Jazeera documentarian Naashon Zalk and Six chronicle the stories of the 'streeties' whose narratives are rarely heard.
