Hi Jason - Daniel is an NZer and is developing projects with the NZ Film Commission. Lars and Peter was funded by Creative New Zealand. Although there are certainly murky areas, there are many titles on NZ On Screen made by Kiwis about non-native stories and subjects.

I know it's directed by an expat but seeing as the site is called NZ on screen hardly see why it qualifies being on this site. Maybe you should put Lee Tamahoris James Bond film on the site too.
