Let's Think of Something

Larry's Rebels , Music Video – 1967

from the album A Study in Black (1967)

Dressed in matching 60s mod suits and sporting shaggy haircuts, Larry’s Rebels perform their bluesy blend of psychedelic pop in one of New Zealand's earliest surviving music videos. The band takes the stage from the balcony of the Overseas Passenger Terminal, against the backdrop of a glistening Wellington harbour. 'Let’s Think of Something' became a hit single for the band, taking the top spot in Auckland and number four on the national charts. Penned by songwriter Roger Skinner, it earned him the APRA Silver Scroll. The video was one of ten made for the nominees at the 1967 Loxene Golden Disc Award.
