Difficult emotionally to watch, specially for anyone unfamiliar with the novel or for those expecting a 'Westerner brings enlightenment to the Third World." Not suitable for children or early adolescents. Excellent presentation of it's theme and superior performances from entire cast. A very truthful presentation of life in nontechnical societies as they experience an unstoppable tsunami of industrialization.
