No More Heroes is a no-holds-barred account of the glory days of Kiwi skateboarding in the 1970s. Directed by one-time junior skateboard champ Andrew Moore, the feature-length documentary pays tribute to the skaters and makers of the Kiwi skating scene. It offers a plethora of photos and home movie footage, interviews with key players, and narration by Hello Sailor's Graham Brazier — plus a stellar Flying Nun soundtrack. Rob Muldoon is seen opening Auckland's legendary park Skatopia in 1978. No More Heroes debuted at the 2006 NZ International Film Festival. Moore writes here about the film's long ride to the screen.
