Out of the Dark

This monster is scheduled to be paroled sometime soon. I sincerely hope the victims and the local authorities are ready for this. The community where he will be released needs to be alerted and protected as well. This man is incapable of change and he will reoffend. All of the research by criminal profilers shows this.

I remember this case and my heart goes out to all the victims and their families. How Joseph Thompson could continue to do what he did with no conscience. The ages of the children made no difference to what he wanted to achieve. I am a survivor of sexual abuse so I know the pain/shame and having no self worth involved. My abusers were family members who have since passed. I married and have four wonderful children 2girls 2boys who I shared my experiences with when they were old enough to understand. My reason if anyone family/stranger attempted to do this to them they could come to me and I would do something about it. I wasnt help when it happened to me. I have dealt with mine and I am a survivor. People like Joseph Thompson dont know the trauma they leave behind for their victims. Im pleased that he no longer walks the streets but will he ever feel the pain his victims live with daily since he was arrested and jailed. Thank you for this wonderful and amazing documentary and the team involved. I worked for 5yrs as the co-ordinator for the Hastings Victim support Group when Victim support Groups first started. Keep up the good work.
