Aue, this was the best of the best of an Aotearoa documentary film EVER made, nga mihi ki a Vincent Ward, nga mihi hoki nunui ahau ki te wahine ataahua, wahine tino kaha a Puhi.
This movie had so many emotions for me that all ended in one emotion that i saw in sooooo many ways. I watched this movie three times in one night, and every chance i get to watch I'll watch all over again!! A ten out of ten star rated, must watch movie.

Best Documentary I had seen in a long time .. Awesome work Vincent Ward, an emotional story of Puhi brought tears to my eyes & tears of happiness that her Mana had been restored! R.I.P Puhi

A brilliant but extremely sad movie. I couldn't understand and still don't understand why Puhi was literally abandoned by all her family and the Maori people. Supposedly Maori are family-orientated; that clearly was not evident in this movie. Totally gut-wrenching and a must watch to believe it for yourselves.
