In this 2010 episode, the show visits a boer goat farm in the South Island, and the laboratories of AgResearch. A PhD student at the research facility discusses her work on a soil life index, that would give farmers a baseline to compare their soils and promote soil productivity. Presenter Roger Bourne is also joined in the studio by NZ Winegrowers CEO Philip Gregan, who explains how the UK's economic difficulties are negatively impacting New Zealand's wine exports.
