On top of the desk shown in this clip is a painting of a face that is very well known to me. It is the face of a man whose life was saved by my Great Grandfather and whose face was reconstructed at Sidcup by Doctor Gillies. His name is William Kearsey and I am writing a book about him and my Great Grandfather so seeing a painting I know so well in this clip was a real surprise.
