from the album Savage Thoughts (2000)This was an adventure. We had three days in Samoa with Bill, DJ Raw, Duncan Cole, myself and boxes and boxes of heavy camera gear. On top of having no crew, we also had no script, just a couple of vague notions of Bill’s and my own. The first day was a write-off — nothing was usable. We didn’t have our bearings yet. Somehow we managed to pull this video out of our butts on the last two days. Looking at it now, I think if Bill wasn’t such a dynamic performer, we wouldn’t have had enough to put something decent together.– Director Joe Lonie
