During the Covid-19 outbreak of 2020, the Seven Sharp team had the unenviable task of coming up with new content during a national lockdown — and they made it look easy. In this parody, comedian Laura Daniel joins a Zoom meeting of politicians and government officials. Using real footage from a House of Representatives meeting, Daniel is expertly intercut to create hilarious fake conversations. The sketch unwittingly features public figures like David Seymour, Ashley Bloomfield and Marama Davidson. Daniel has become a staple of Kiwi comedy, having worked on Funny Girls and Jono and Ben.
