It's a big day on long-running soap Shortland Street when nurse Dawn Robinson (Rebekah Palmer) weds paramedic Ali Karim (Tane Williams-Accra). In these excerpts the excited bride-to-be, best man Curtis Hannah (Jayden Daniels), groom Ali and 'man of honour' Damo (Grant Lobban) check out the 'dirty old shed' Dawn has chosen as the venue. Dawn introduces her groom to her beloved 'aunties' — the iconic Topp Twins, playing themselves. Lynda and Jools serenade Dawn down the aisle, oversee the vows and, in the final excerpt, crack out their classic anthem 'Untouchable Girls' as the barn party revs up.
