Shortland Street - Dawn and Ali's Wedding

I was talking to the writers one day and they were like, 'We haven't got this completely sorted yet but when you refer to Aunty Jools and Aunty Lynda, that is the Topp Twins'. Meeting them was amazing. I actually think I was a wee bit star-struck but they were just so, so lovely, so funny. I know my nana would have absolutely loved that. She was related to the Topp Twins. It was definitely a really cool day and I thought Nana would have loved this.

It's so strange. Even walking down the aisle with the Topp Twins singing, the cast are all such good friends anyway, it's like your friends are all there at your wedding, I was getting a bit teary-eyed walking down the aisle.
