...I don't know much about the show itself, but what I do know is a hell of a cliffhanger when I see one.

We all knew around the writers' table that we had something special when script producer Nick Malmholt​ came up with the line, but none of us had any idea that it was going to get the huge response that it has received. I mean, we even went global.

The suspense is laughably theatrical, rather than anxiety-inducing, and therefore many people enjoy hearing it again ... the quote dramatises the risk of storing photos of one's private parts. That's immensely topical. Even whistleblower Edward Snowden and US comedian John Oliver have chatted about the security of so-called 'dick pics'.

...with a little help from the director I managed to give it the correct amount of crazy, and it got a few chuckles from the crew so I felt I’d managed not to ruin it. Then I forgot all about it...until two months later when it went to air, and every radio station was talking about it.
