Tattoo

Documentary Tattoo explores the varied relationships people have with their tattoos. The stories range from tatoo novices to those who already have them, to those who wish they didn't. This clip features two people getting tattooed, and two in the process of getting theirs removed. Jenny talks about the complexity of losing something that represented her identity, back when she was still establishing what that identity was. And a tattooist works on a big arm piece which is later shown at a tattoo show. Kate Peacocke's documentary screened as part of TV3's documentary slot Inside New Zealand.
