This was an outstanding documentary about a highly talented artist who, like each one of us, had weaknesses and went through tough times. Martin Phillipps (RIP) was such an interesting and talented person, and he and his bandmates created memorable and moving music. It's clear that those who made the documentary wanted to know him and that they felt warmth and respect towards him. A masterful piece of work about a dedicated artist who strove to bring the inside to the outside. Even if you don't know much about Martin Phillipps or The Chills, give this one a go, it's interesting and well-told.
