This very short, slightly twisted tale stars Mark Clare, who sang in Kiwi band The Newmatics and featured as a bungy jumper in a beloved 1992 Instant Kiwi commercial. Clare plays a real estate agent with a penchant for song and dance, who discovers he can make music by jumping on the creaky floorboards of an old villa. But there's a punchline to Peter Salmon's quirky little comedy that Stephen King would be proud of. The Creakers was one of a series of rADz — so-called 'radical art ads' — commissioned to screen during ad breaks on MediaWorks channel TV4.
