I was in this movie as a kid. Lead a horse back and forth in the background in one scene with my brothers on it's back, and got my foot trod on as I didn't know how to turn it around with out getting in the way. Ahh the memories.

As I recall, this was shown prior to "Came a Hot Friday" when the latter was shown in NZ cinemas. That was back in the days when they usually screened a "short" before the main feature!

I remember being read the short story at school and then watching the film on the old school projector. I have never forgotten it. A remarkable film.
