In this excerpt from writer/director Dale Bradley's movie romance Wild Blue, ex pilot Bill Howie (Bernard Moody) and his grandson Jonathan enjoy a flying lesson in Howie's lovingly restored tiger moth. They meet slick American pilot Ray Walker (Judge Reinhold, of Beverly Hills Cop fame) who Howie has hired as a cropduster. Howie's multitasking daughter Hannah (Nicola Murphy from Magik & Rose) makes an impression on Walker, but her mind is also on school PTA business. Jonathan is gutted when Walker flies the plane without him. Bradley's feature takes full advantage of Queenstown's international appeal.
